Answer
Predict how this event will be covered by the television, radio, print and internet?
In television, the event could be covered live or hours later, the same with radio but in radio, you can only hear audio and the video is not present. In print, the event will be published during the day. In the internet, a video, print, audio, or images can be published instantly because it is very accesible and easy to use.
How are the presentations of facts may vary from medium to medium
The presentation will be in video. In radio, it will be in audio. In print, it will be in text. In the internet, it could be any or combinations of the others.
How are the codes and conventions vary from medium to medium?
The reporters will be summarizing the event in the video. In radio, the speakers could give their own opinions while reporting the event, the same in print. But some articles are just like the television only in text. In internet, it could also be any of the others or combination of them.
How much of these differences will be based on the unique characteristics of the medium?
We can cross reference if the reports given by the different mediums are true and valid.
A. If you will be a reporter, are you going to use the conventional way of how each media will broadcast the given scenario?
If I will be a reporter, I am going to use the conventional way of how media will broadcast because people are used to it and it will be easier for the audience to understand my report regardless of the information I am giving to them.
B. What will you do to not make your report boring?
Sometimes, the way you speak can affect the delivery of the speech. I will talk in a lively manner and will utter my words sometime with an accent and with proper delivery by not eating my words.
C. Would you exaggerate some elements in your report to make it interesting? Why?
No. It may somehow change how the viewers will see it, meaning the viewers may see the event a little different from what actually happened which may lead to confusion.
